Dame Darcy stayed at my house one evening about a decade ago. She was dating a friend of mine at the time and they dropped by on their way from NYC to LA (or LA to NYC, I don’t remember). There was no way that she was going to be anything but the center of attention. She insisted on pointing out her real pointy ears and was strangely attached to a certain pair of pinking shears.
