VIDEO: Fifteen years ago today Robert Anton Wilson sat down with me and answered seven questions. I ended up with eight answers. The remaining seven segments will cover other related subjects and will be posted here in the next consecutive sixteen days.
VIDEO: Here we will clearly define the difference between a Drag Queen and a Cross Dresser - well, not really. Drag Strip 66 was once an ongoing affair at Rudopho’s nightspot in Silverlake, California. Alas, all weird things must pass. But wait… what’s this? Our interviewer is ANT.
VIDEO: I am proud to present a stirring Americana comedy segment from our weird channel, weird.tv.
Credits: Hollywood genius Jason Berlin wrote the sketch, designed the backgrounds and plays outlaw ‘Smiles Martinez’. NPR’s funny bone Rico Gagliano plays bad guy ‘Dumbass the Gimp’. Invader ZIM’s Eric Trueheart cameos as the pot smoking geek. I directed, did music and spit blood all over my garage in a tragic death scene.
VIDEO: 15 years ago Illuminatus author, Robert Anton Wilson, was gracious enough to let me interview him. Now, in order to bring more public awareness to his plight I am releasing an 8 part series with highlights from that interview. Thanks to Douglas Rushkoff and Mark Frauenfelder for bringing this to my attention so that I could dust off some old tapes and use them to help. The interviews will premier on October 15.
VIDEO: This weeks meeting at HBO got off to an unusual beginning. I never received the email informing me the meeting was delayed (hats off to Verizon). Most people would have had a coffee to pass the time — not me.
VIDEO: Last Wednesday night writer/director Al Ridenour led his army of starkness into certain victory at Safari Sam’s in Los Angeles. THE ART OF BLEEDING and the MAGIC AMBULANCE THEATER’S blazing crimson production, ABRAM AND THE SAFETY BUG, barnstormed into the thespian history books.
Adding to the cutting edge carnage was comedian, Margaret Cho, who graced the stage in loose, flowing red cloth - which soon gravity did it’s work on.
See THE ART OF BLEEDING’S next show, HALLOWEEN HIGHWAY, A Cautionary Tableau of Automotive Carnage on OCTOBER 26th in Hollywood at the Steve Allen Theater. It’s a fun, lighthearted romp, very witty and guaranteed to drip bloody chunks.
